World's leading hedge fund manager
I run a global hedge fund. My preferred instruments are: currencies, precious metals, commodities, and large long/short positions in special equity situations. We have not accepted new investors in five years. We have never had a down year... ever. And I intend to keep it that way.
I live in London. I also spend good amount of time in New York and Hawaii.
I live by the motto: "The Strong Do What They Will... The Weak Do What They Must".
I try like hell always to be operating from a position of strength, and never being weak (or at least never showing my weak hand).
I was raised in a small town in Hampshire. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Unfortunately, my first stop was an all-boys school, Winchester College. I got nothing out of this experience and my many years there, except for a lot of buggering. I then spent 3 years at Cambridge reading Law. Then a few years in the City, followed by 2 cold years in Boston at the Harvard Business School.
I got my real start working on the principal investment trading desk at an investment bank. Then I went to work at an established hedge fund. My boss screwed me over... so I left and set up my own fund. Eventually, I put him out of business. That was my best moment, so far!
I was married once, am now divorced, but have daily arguments with my ex. I'm not sure why we still feel the need to hear the other bitch and blather... but obviously there is some deep, dark hidden issue there for the both of us. I am currently involved in a relationship, but neither of us are ready for any full commitments at the moment.
My #1 passion: beautiful women. My other passions: my horses (3) and my dogs (3). My hobbies: flying, tennis, golf, fly fishing and most of all instilling fear in others. Things I can't live without: Krug Champagne, Mouton Rothschild, My Pershing Yacht, The George V, old Land Rovers, iPods, Robert Ludlum novels, vintage Italian movies, and English football.
